Joe Burrow Dismisses Idea That He's Concerned About Surgically Repaired Left Knee

The 24-year-old underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL in December.

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow will start in Sunday's season opener against the Vikings. It's an impressive feat, considering he suffered a brutal left knee injury in November

Many wondered if he'd be ready to go, but Burrow was cleared before training camp began and even appeared in the Bengals' preseason finale against Miami.

He only played three snaps, but he isn't worried about his knee.

"None," Burrow told ESPN's Dan Graziano when asked if he had any concerns about his surgically repaired left knee.

He'll wear a brace, which is normal, especially for a quarterback coming off of a serious injury like this one.

"It shouldn't affect me at all," Burrow said of the brace. "I don't really like wearing it because it's big and bulky, but I don't think it'll affect my play."

The Bengals play the Vikings on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Paul Brown Stadium.
