Joe Burrow Doubles Down, Implies He'll Be Ready For Regular Season Opener

"See you in September."

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is still recovering from a torn left ACL and MCL, but the 24-year-old had another positive message for fans on Friday.

"See you in September," Burrow wrote on Instagram.

The former No. 1 overall pick has always planned on being ready for the start of the regular season.

The Bengals begin the season at home against the Vikings on Sept 12.

"I’ll be ready to go for the season as long as there’s no setbacks," Burrow said earlier this month

It doesn't sound like anything has changed with training camp one month away. That bodes well for the Bengals' chances of turning things around after five straight losing seasons.
