Joe Burrow is in California Training With Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson

The Bengals' stars are getting extra work in before camp starts.

CINCINNATI — Bengals training camp is less than three weeks away, but their two biggest stars are already working out together. 

Joe Burrow is in California with Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson according to Peter Schrager of NFL Network. 

"Burrow right now is in I wanna say Newport Beach [California] by you training," Schrager said on the Bill Simmons podcast. "Justin Jefferson's there, Ja'Marr Chase was there." 

It makes sense, especially because Burrow has worked out with quarterback guru Jordan Palmer in recent seasons. The star signal-caller acknowledged he had plenty of work to do after OTAs. 

"I've got a couple trips I have to take, but make sure to bring my guy with me so we can get our workouts in. I can't be missing any workouts this close to camp, so it's time to lock in," Burrow said last month. "We are locked in now. It's go time. We are a month and a couple weeks out from camp so I'm locked in. I think about football every day. This month leading up to camp, it's more intense out there at practice, it will get a little more intense in the meeting rooms and my workouts and all of the above. It's go time." 

Bengals veterans report for training camp on July 26. Don't be surprised if Burrow, Chase and others show up early in hopes of getting extra work in before the 2022 campaign.
