La'el Collins is in Cincinnati, Bengals Could Still Sign the Former Cowboys Offensive Tackle
CINCINNATI — There's still hope, Bengals fans. La'el Collins is still in Cincinnati after visiting with the team on Friday and there's optimism around a potential deal.
Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported that Collins left Cincinnati without a deal on Saturday afternoon.
Not only is the 28-year-old still in town, but he was stopped by multiple Bengals fans at Kenwood Mall.
There are also rumblings of another meeting that could take place between Collins, his agent Peter Schaffer and the Bengals.
All Bengals hasn't confirmed the meeting, but it would make sense. Collins is still in Cincinnati and has been since Thursday night.
Things were trending toward a deal on Friday, but trailed off Saturday morning. The fact that he's still in town bodes well for the Bengals' chances of signing him.
