National Analyst Believes Joe Burrow Too High in Latest Quarterback Rankings
CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was ranked second in ESPN's annual pre-training camp quarterback rankings.
NFL insider Jeremy Fowler polled coaches, executives and scouts for the list.
Former Ravens linebacker Bart Scott took issue with the rankings. He believes Aaron Rodgers (eighth) should be ahead of Burrow.
"You can't say Joe Burrow is a better thrower of the football than Aaron Rodgers. You can't say his football accumen is better," Scott said on ESPN's First Take. "If I have to make a decision, I'm going with A-Aron. Someone I've seen close the deal. Joe Burrow has fallen short."
Robert Griffin III disagreed with Scott and made it clear that Burrow has the edge, partially because he's 27 and Rodgers is 40-years-old.
