NFL Announces 2023 Team Salary Caps
CINCINNATI — The Bengals got some good news following their 23-20 loss in the AFC Championship Game.
NFL Network reported that the new 2023 salary cap is up to $224.8 million per team.
Revenue has only shot up since the fanless 2020 season hamstrung the league. The figure is up from $208.2 million in 2022, $182.5M in 2021 (COVID adjustment), 198.2M in 2020, and $188.2M in 2019.
Cincinnati can use all of the cap advantages it can get during an offseason where they could extend multiple players, namely quarterback Joe Burrow.
