Report: Bengals-Chiefs Highest Rated AFC Championship Game In Four Years

The Bengals and Chiefs played a tight 23-20 game.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals were involved in another massive TV audience mark this past weekend.

According to CBS, Sunday's 23-20 loss to Kansas City was the most-watched AFC Championship Game in four years.

It averaged 53.1 million viewers. That mark is up 11% over last year’s game, which the Bengals won to punch a third Super Bowl trip in franchise history.

Cincinnati's season ended early, but don't be surprised if they play in five primetime games next season, the maximum amount allowed per team.
