CINCINNATI — The Bengals are calling other teams in hopes of adding a pass rusher ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic.

"This isn’t the Bengals’ style, but they have strong belief in this team and intend to get back to, at least, the AFC Championship game," Russini wrote. "Despite sitting at 3-5, Cincinnati has been poking around in search of a cornerback and a defensive lineman to get defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo some help. Edge rusher Trey Hendrickson is seen as the only threat on this Cincy defense."

We've written about the possibility multiple times this week. It makes sense. The Bengals have an elite quarterback in Joe Burrow, a star wide receiver in Ja'Marr Chase and all seven of their picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

With guys like Josh Uche getting dealt for a day three pick, there's no reason why the Bengals shouldn't try to bolster a weakness or two ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.
