Report: Patriots Release Possible Bengals Defensive Line Option Lawrence Guy
CINCINNATI — The Patriots just released a possible veteran depth piece the Bengals could use along the defensive line.
Tom Pelissero reported New England is moving on from defensive tackle Lawrence Guy.
Guy's played in 172 games since entering the league in 2012 and has posted 507 tackles with 17 sacks over that stretch. He hasn't been consistently productive in some time though, with sub-70 PFF grades each of the past three seasons (45.5 overall in 2023).
He is free to sign with any team ahead of all normal free agents next month.
