Rest Day: Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow Won't Throw During Friday's Practice
CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow isn't expected to throw during Friday's practice.
Head coach Zac Taylor planned on that being the case and made the declaration following Thursday's session.
Burrow underwent season-ending wrist surgery in November and while he's cleared for contact, the Bengals want to take it slow with their franchise quarterback.
"We’re going to play it by ear. We don’t really plan practicing more than two days in a row in this first chunk," Burrow said. "We’ll play that third day by ear for the next week and then after that I plan on going every day."
Tee Higgins is expected to be limited on Friday. Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Ja'Marr Chase. Will he practice? Will his "hold-in" continue?
