In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bengals placed running back Chris Evans on injured reserve on Monday, ending his season. The veteran suffered a torn patellar tendon in last week's joint practice with the Bears.

Could the Bengals potentially reunite with a familiar face?

Samaje Perine could be the "odd man out" in Denver according to Benjamin Allbright.

Perine had 238 yards rushing and 455 yards receiving for the Broncos last season after signing with them in free agency. The soon-to-be 29-year-old spent three full seasons in Cincinnati and was a member of 2021 team that won the AFC Championship.

Adding a proven piece like Perine that could help compliment Zack Moss and Chase Brown would make a ton of sense for Cincinnati.
