CINCINNATI — The Steelers fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada head of Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Pittsburgh is coming off of a 13-10 loss to Cleveland. Second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett has struggled under Canada.

The Bengals are hoping those struggles continue on Sunday, despite the coordinator change.

Pittsburgh is expected to have running backs coach Eddie Faulkner take over as offensive coordinator with quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan handling play-calling duties according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The Steelers enter the matchup with a 6-4 record. The Bengals are 5-5 and will be without star quarterback Joe Burrow for the remainder of the 2023 season.
