Look: Possible Bengals Free Agent Target Teven Jenkins Signed Team-Friendly Contract With Browns

CINCINNATI — Teven Jenkins signed a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns last week.
It turns out, he could be one of the best value signings of free agency.
Jenkins signed a one-year, $3 million deal with Cleveland according to Spotrac.com.
The Bengals were one of multiple teams interested in Jenkins during the early stages of free agency. The Giants and Seahawks also expressed interest and all three teams made offers to the former second round pick.
It's unclear why a deal didn't get done and it's reasonable to wonder if medical red flags hurt his value in free agency. Jenkins visited Seattle before signing with Cleveland.
The 27-year-old posted a 75.4 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus last season. He's a quality run blocker and was arguably the top guard on the free agent market.
Signing him for $3 million was a no-brainer for Cleveland, but it's unclear if that was an option for the Bengals.
The Bengals, Giants, and Seahawks could've passed on him for a reason. Regardless, this is a low-risk, medium-to-high reward signing for the Browns.
