Trae Waynes has some harsh words for EA Sports about his Madden 21 rating

CINCINNATI — NFL players across the league continue to react to their ratings in Madden 21.

Bengals defensive tackle D.J. Reader and wide receiver Tyler Boyd are two [of the many] players that have been outspoken about the ratings.

Cincinnati cornerback Trae Waynes is the latest player to get involved.

"Ight @EAMaddenNFL you bitches done took it too far with this one," he tweeted on Thursday.

Waynes wasn't listed as one of the top-10 fastest corners in the NFL.

"Man they can kiss my whole ass for this one lol," he continued.

Waynes Tweet

Waynes ran a 4.31 40-yard dash at the 2015 NFL Combine. It was the fastest among defensive backs and the second fastest out of the entire draft class.

Here's the top-10 fastest defensive backs in Madden 21: Donte Jackson, Denzel Ward, Keion Crossen, Parry Nickerson, Shaquill Griffin, Chris Westry, Tony Brown, Fabian Moreau, Anthony Brown and Jonathan Jones. Each player was given a 94 speed rating or higher.

The Bengals agreed to terms with Waynes this offseason. The 27-year-old will finalize his three-year, $42 million contract later this month after he passes a physical before the training camp starts.

No one on the Bengals received a 90 rating or higher in Madden 21. Joe Mixon is an 89, followed by Geno Atkins (88) and A.J. Green (88).

Waynes isn't one of the 10 highest-rated Bengals.

Reader (84), Tyler Boyd (83), Carlos Dunlap (82), William Jackson III (81), Carl Lawson (80), Vonn Bell (79) and Jessie Bates (79) round out the top 10.
