Tyler Boyd On Finger Injury: 'I'll Make It Work'

The slot maven is dealing with a dislocated finger suffered against Cleveland.

CINCINNATI — Tyler Boyd still sounded confident he is going to play during his latest comments to the media. 

The Bengals top slot weapon is dealing with a dislocated finger that popped against Cleveland this past week.

“End of the day, I can play," Boyd told reporters. "I can move my legs. I’ll make it work.”

Mike Petraglia later noted that Boyd was wearing tape on his left middle finger for the second-straight day as he battles the injury. If he doesn't end up playing like Tee Higgins last week, then expect more looks for Trent Taylor or Trenton Irwin in the slot.

Boyd's posted 45 catches for 655 yards and 4 TDs this season. His 14.6 yards per catch ranks 19th leaguewide.
