Von Miller appears to be hinting at the Buffalo Bills circling wagons far beyond their own at the upcoming NFL Draft.

Count Miller among the many Western New Yorkers hoping to see the Bills replenish their receiving corps with their opening pick, but the veteran defender appears to be hinting that such a fateful pick could come earlier than Buffalo's regularly scheduled pick at 28th overall: Miller's Instagram story featured a doctored video of Brandon Beane, one depicting the team general manager dancing to the delight of a crowd. The accompanying caption appears to hint at Beane's plans for the draft in less than two weeks.

"Brandon Beane arriving to the 2024 NFL draft to trade up for a WR," Miller labeled the video (h/t @panchobillza on X). "In Beane we TRUST. Bills Mafia LFG."

Josh Allen's aerial arsenal took a bit of a beating this offseason, with top options Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis respectively moving on to Houston and Jacksonville. Buffalo did welcome in Curtis Samuel, but that's far from enough to convince mock drafters that it'll be looking beyond the receivers' spot.

Beane has been reluctant to use draft picks on receivers: the highest one he ever chose was Davis in 2020's fourth round. Buffalo hasn't used a first-round choice on a receiver since Sammy Watkins went fourth overall in 2014. With questions lingering about Buffalo's Super Bowl window, it stands to reason that they'll seek to make Allen's offensive quest as comfortable as possible. With the rookie receivers category relatively top-heavy, Beane and Co. may have no choice but to barter.

The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off on Apr. 25 in Detroit.
