WATCH: Did Tom Brady Predict Buffalo Bills' Stefon Diggs Trade?

The Buffalo Bills shocked the NFL world by trading Stefon Diggs, but Tom Brady may not have been surprised.

The Buffalo Bills are adjusting to life without Stefon Diggs after the team traded him to the Houston Texans on Wednesday.

The move surprised many as the Bills have made it to the Divisional Round in each of the four years Diggs played in Buffalo. However, Diggs' unhappiness with failing to reach the Super Bowl grew and a trade was in store when the iron was hot.

However, NFL legend Tom Brady may have seen this coming a mile away. In 2022, Brady ominously told Allen while playing golf with him that "someone would leave him too."

In Capital One's "The Match" with Brady, Allen, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes almost two years ago, the conversation turned to star receivers leaving their quarterbacks. Davante Adams left Rodgers to join the Las Vegas Raiders and Tyreek Hill departed from the Kansas City Chiefs to play with the Miami Dolphins earlier in that offseason.

But Brady didn't want to leave Allen out.

"I got my boy Mike [Evans] ready to catch," Brady said in the video clip. "I don't even know who caught Aaron's. Davante left him and Tyreek left you, Patrick. Don't worry Josh, someone's going to leave you too."

And now, nearly two years left, someone has left Josh. However, the Bills now have financial freedom to target other big-time receivers next year when they will have immense cap space. Buffalo is also expected to select a receiver early this year in what is expected to be one of the best draft classes for receivers in a long time.
