Bills' Josh Allen Undergoes X-Rays on Shoulder; 'I'll Be Alright,' Vows Buffalo QB

Bills' Josh Allen Undergoes X-Rays on Shoulder; 'I'll Be Alright,' Vows Buffalo QB; Damien Harris Update

The Buffalo Bills came out of their "Sunday Night Football'' meeting with the New York Giants victorious, by a 14-9 score ... but battered and bruised nevertheless.

In addition to the obviously frightening scene in the second quarter, when running back Damien Harris was removed from the field via ambulance after suffering a neck injury - and yes, the Damar Hamlin memories naturally all come flooding back - QB Josh Allen sought out some postgame help in the X-ray room.

'We Hate It, But ...!' Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills Avoid New York Giants Upset, Win 14-9

The Bills star quarterback told the media after the win that he had his throwing shoulder checked out, adding that he will "be alright." Bills head coach Sean McDermott essentially echoed that sentiment, having added that everything "looks normal so far" after the initial look at the test results.

Allen departed the game for a short time in the second quarter after being victimized by a a roughing the passer penalty that was called against Giants pash rusher Bobby Okereke.

Allen and the Bills struggled in many ways on offense here, though Allen led the team on a lengthy drive down the field capped off by a Quintin Morris touchdown catch that gave the Bills a lead they would not relinquish ... despite a late-game push by the lowly (1-5) Giants.

Buffalo is now 4-2 on the season and will head on the road to face the Patriots in Week 7. There will hopefully be good news on the availability of Allen and good news on the health of Harris, who we are told movement in his arms and legs as he preps to undergo further testing.
