Boston College WR Zay Flowers 'Would Love' to Play with Bills, Stefon Diggs

The Buffalo Bills have one of the best wide receiver groups in the NFL, led by Stefon Diggs. Could that corps get even better with Boston College standout Zay Flowers?

The latest batch of NFL Draft prospects are making their mark this week at the Combine, hoping to impress all 32 NFL teams.

But the prospects are already impressed by the teams featuring the players they looked up to all their life.

When it comes to the Buffalo Bills, they already have an admirer in Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers, who has personally looked up to Stefon Diggs.

"That's something I've dreamed of," Flowers said when asked about joining the Bills. "Just being able to play with those guys, those vets, I'll learn from them. Coming into the league, I'd love to have Stefon Diggs as a mentor."

Flowers, a projected Day 2 pick, met with Bills wide receivers coach Adam Henry earlier in the week, sparking some potential interest between Buffalo and the Boston College prodigy.

As a senior, the 5-9, 182-pound Flowers broke the single-season program record in touchdown receptions (12), tied the mark in receptions (78) and finished third in receiving yards (1,077). He was named the best player in the New England region and a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award given annually to the top wideout in college football.

In total, Flowers finished as the all-time career leader in all three above categories with 29 touchdowns, 200 receptions and 3,056 receiving yards.

Adding that to a wide receiver arsenal that already features Diggs and Gabe Davis would make Josh Allen's job even easier and improve an already-elite position group in Buffalo.
