Stefon Diggs Late TD Saves Buffalo Bills Bloody Dreadful First Half vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London

The Buffalo Bills trailed the Jacksonville Jaguars at halftime in Sunday's game in London.

As cliche as it might sound, the Buffalo Bills certainly seem to be a bit jet-lagged from their flight across the pond.

Through one half of play in Sunday's meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, the Bills looked like a shell of the version fans have seen over the past three weeks. A combination of injuries, penalties, disappearance on offense and inconsistent defense caused Buffalo to fall into an double-digit hole, but a late 15-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Stefon Diggs helped ease the bruises as Buffalo trailed the Jags 11-7 at halftime.

The Jags put together an impressive two-minute drive to end the half that took them down to the red zone, but Bills defensive end A.J. Epenesa got a strip sack of Lawrence that halted momentum. Buffalo had life headed into the locker room.

The Buffalo offense went three-and-out on its first two drives and didn't pick up its first first down until about 30 seconds left in the opening quarter. The Bills also failed to cross midfield until about four minutes left in the half.

The Bills were hit with a major gut-punch early in the game after star linebacker Matt Milano had to be carted off with a knee injury. He was quickly ruled out. Additionally, defensive tackle Daquan Jones injured his pec and was ruled doubtful to return.

Injuries or not, the Bills got off to a sluggish start on both sides of the ball. Meanwhile, the Jags quickly jumped out to a 11-0 lead before the end of the first quarter. On its second offensive drive, Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence found receiver Zay Jones for a six-yard touchdown before an ensuing two point conversion and eventual field goal a few minutes later.

The Bills will receive the second-half kickoff.
