Bills WATCH: Damar Hamlin a Full Participant at OTAs

During OTAs on Tuesday, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was a full participant for the first time since suffering from cardiac arrest in January.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin continues to make the steps necessary toward a potential and somewhat miraculous return to the field by Week 1 against the New York Jets.

During OTAs on Tuesday, Hamlin was a full participant for the first time since suffering from cardiac arrest in the field of play against the Cincinnati Bengals on Jan 2. Donning his No. 3 jersey along with a clean-looking visor, Hamlin continued to participate in drills with his fellow defensive backs as the Bills get toward the end of OTAs.

Take a look:

Regardless of whether or not he's sporting a helmet and pads for Week 1, it remains incredible that Hamlin has overcome all the odds after nearly dying on the football field. Any potential absences now or during the season obviously won't take away from what he has done both for himself and for others over the past couple of months.

"I died on national TV in front of the world ... (and) to see the world see the good that I was trying to do even before the notoriety, for that to be acknowledged, it was just a wonderful feeling,'' Hamlin said in April. "I plan to save a generation and generations to come."

The Bills will continue OTAs until Thursday before the start of mandatory minicamp on June 13.
