Bills Emerge as Betting Favorites to Sign DeAndre Hopkins

Adding Hopkins to the pass-catching corps of Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox, and rookie Dalton Kincaid would look impressive, and what's more, it would mean that conference rivals Kansas City didn't have his services.

The Arizona Cardinals have parted ways with All-Pro wideout DeAndre Hopkins. The move will clear up almost $8 million in cap space next season and carry a $22.6 million dead cap hit. It will also remove him completely from the team's salary cap outlook for 2024.

As soon as the move became public, speculation began about where Hopkins' next home might be.

The Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen could certainly use some help at wide receiver, and DraftKings has installed Buffalo as +300 favorites to land Hopkins next. The Chiefs follow the Bills at +400, then the Ravens appear at +650, and the Jets at +750.

With all four favorites being AFC-based teams, Hopkins could be the next top-talent player to defect from the NFC to the AFC.

If it comes down to a bidding war between teams, Hopkins would benefit. Whichever team lands him will experience a huge boost in its passing game.

With Hopkins as a member of the Chiefs alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce and wideout Kadarius Toney would put Kansas City even an even better place to make another Super Bowl run.
