Do Buffalo Bills Face Must-Win vs. New York Jets?

The Buffalo Bills may need to win their Week 11 game against the New York Jets to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Buffalo Bills are far from where they expected to be 10 games into the season.

After making the playoffs for each of the last four years, the Bills are in serious jeopardy of having that streak snapped in 2023 as they currently sit on the outside looking in of the AFC playoff picture.

The Bills currently sit 1.5 games behind the Miami Dolphins for the AFC East lead, and one of their final divisional games comes this weekend against the New York Jets.

The Jets sit 0.5 game behind the Bills at 4-5 and could leapfrog Buffalo in the standings with a win on Sunday.

Buffalo's win this weekend would be important towards the team's success because this is likely the last game the Bills will be favored to win until the final weeks of the season.

Following this weekend's contest, the Bills head out on the road to face the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs with a bye sandwiched in between. Then, the team heads to AT&T Stadium to face the 6-3 Cowboys. Should Buffalo lose all three of those games, that's eight losses for the Bills, meaning the best record they could have is 9-8, and that includes a win this weekend.

The Bills' final three games are winnable, but also a challenge. They have to visit the Chargers before finishing the season with divisional contests against the New England Patriots and Dolphins.

Wins are going to be hard to come by in the second half of the season, which is why taking care of business at home is a must.
