The Buffalo Bills will be missing key players against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round matchup on Sunday.

An already uphill climb has become more steep for the Buffalo Bills ahead of their AFC Divisional Round match-up vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced that receiver Gabe Davis (knee), cornerback Christian Benford (knee), safety Taylor Rapp (calf) and linebacker Baylon Spector (back) have all been ruled out for Sunday. For Rapp and Davis, it'll mark the second straight game they have missed as they were both out in Buffalo's 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.

The loss of Davis could prove especially problematic given how good the Chiefs' defense is and how he performed against them the last time they played in the 2021 playoffs. Davis caught eight passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns, which set the record for the most in a playoff game.

Benford and Spector each suffered their injuries against Pittsburgh.

McDermott also said linebacker Terrel Bernard (ankle), cornerback Taron Johnson (concussion), linebacker Tyrel Dodson (shoulder) and cornerback Rasul Douglas (knee) will be game-time decisions on Sunday. Bernard suffered a sprained ankle against Pittsburgh and had to be carted off the field. He has yet to practice this week, though McDermott is hopeful he'll be able to play.

Bills Add Stefon Diggs To Lengthy Injury Report

Johnson has been limited in practice but still needs to pass concussion protocol if he's going to play against the Chiefs. Douglas would be missing his second straight game if he can't play on Sunday.

The Bills host the Chiefs on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Highmark Stadium for the first time in their three playoff matchups in the last four years.
