Josh Allen's Mexico Vacation with Hailee Steinfeld; Bills Fans Upset?
We refuse to believe that there are really straight-thinking Buffalo Bills fans who have a problem with this, but here we go ... Josh Allen is a high-profile celebrity in a way that now extends beyond him just being the MVP candidate QB of the Bills. And therefore - if there is a way to do so respectfully - his personal life matters.
And it there has been a major change in Allen's personal life, as his recent breakup with longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams has been followed up by him first being spotted in New York City on Thursday while apparently on a date with actress Hailee Steinfeld. ... and now "canoodling'' with the starlet while the two vacation together in Mexico.
Allen, 27, forged a relationship with Williams that goes back to their time together in high school and they reportedly began dating when he was in college at the University of Wyoming. They were a couple when Allen came to Buffalo after he was selected by the Bills with the No. 7 overall pick in 2018.
Allen is of course a team leader of the Super Bowl-contending Bills, who worked recently at minicamp while noting how "badly he wants to bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo.''
As Williams recently unfollowed the superstar quarterback on Instagram and on social media deleted multiple posts featuring pictures of them together, the QB has moved on. He was recently asked about all of this and wisely said, "No comment.''
Steinfeld, 26, is largely known for her role as Kate Bishop on "Hawkeye,'' which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has also starred in the films "Bumblebee'' and "Pitch Perfect'' and is the voice of Gwen Stacy on "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.'' Steinfeld was chosen for the role of Mattie Ross in "True Grit'' at age 13 and the role earned her an Oscar nomination at the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is also a recording artist.
There are people on Twitter who are giving Allen a hard time for all of this. One website said fans are "crucifying'' him for vacationing, or for dating a starlet, or for not busying himself this week ... or something. We're sincerely hoping "those people'' are on the fringe. And that "those people'' are not you.
