Bills vs. Raiders Live Updates, Highlights: Josh Allen And Buffalo Dominate Las Vegas In 38-10 Win

The Buffalo Bills host the Las Vegas Raiders in their home opener.

Can the Buffalo Bills get back on track against the Las Vegas Raiders?

Josh Allen and the Bills will look to avoid starting 0-2 for the first time since 2018 when they host the Raiders at 1 p.m. on Sunday in their home opener at Highmark Stadium. 

Buffalo began its season with a 22-16 loss in overtime to the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Allen was 29 of 41 for 236 ya with one touchdown, three interceptions and a fumble in the loss. Allen's last two turnovers led to 10 points in the fourth quarter, though he led the Bills on a game-tying drive at the end of regulation.

The Raiders hung on late for a 17-16 win on the road over the Denver Broncos on Sunday in their season opener.

Las Vegas will be without its leading receiver Jakobi Meyers after he suffered a concussion against Denver. Meyers had nine catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Defensive end Chandler Jones is also out for the Raiders.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams were each in the injury report but were full participants on Thursday and Friday and good to go for Las Vegas.

Bills center Mitch Morse was the only player on the injury report with a finger injury. He was a full participant throughout the week and will play for Buffalo.

1ST QUARTER:

Las Vegas gets the ball to start the game. The Raiders begin the drive at their 25-yard line after the touchback from Tyler Bass. 

Josh Jacobs is tackled for a four-yard loss on the first play of the game after the play was blown up by Ed Oliver. Jimmy Garoppolo's screen pass to Jacobs gains 12 yards to make it third and two. Garoppolo finds his top target Davante Adams along the sideline for 17 yards to move the chains to midfield. 

Tre Tucker gets the handoff on an end-around and he runs for 34 yards all the way to Buffalo's 16-yard line. 

Garoppolo finds Adams on a screen and he runs it into the end zone for a 16-yard touchdown. 

Daniel Carlson's extra point is good with 12:16 left in the first quarter.

Carlson's kickoff goes through the end zone for a touchback. 

James Cook runs for two yards on first down. Cook gets another carry and he gains three yards to make it third and five. Josh Allen is forced to scramble and he only gains a yard before being pushed out of bounds. 

Sam Martin's punt goes out of bounds at Las Vegas' 16-yard line.

Jacobs is stopped for no gain. Garoppolo's pass to Jacobs gains 12 yards to move the chains. 

Jacobs gets another carry and only gains two yards. Garoppolo is intercepted on a tipped pass by Terrel Bernard at the Raiders' 28-yard line.

Allen's pass to Stefon Diggs gains five yards before he goes out of bounds. Latavius Murray runs for eight yards to the Raiders' 15-yard line. 

Allen's pass to Deonte Harty loses four yards. Allen finds Diggs again, this time for 11 yards. On third and three, Allen's pass to Diggs gains two and is a yard short of a first down. On fourth and one, Allen keeps it on a quarterback sneak and gains two yards to extend the drive. 

On first and goal from the Raiders' four-yard line, Murray gets the handoff and runs for a four-yard touchdown.

Garoppolo's pass to Ameer Abdullah gains five yards. Garoppolo's pass intended for Adams is incomplete. On third and five, Garoppolo's pass is batted down by A.J. Epenesa. 

Harty calls for a fair catch at Buffalo's 16-yard line.

Murray runs for three yards. Allen finds Dawson Knox for only a yard to make it third and six. Allen's pass is complete to Knox again, this time for seven yards to move the chains. 

Allen's pass to Reggie Gilliam gains three yards. Allen completes another pass, finding Gabe Davis for seven yards and another first down. 

Allen finds Davis again for an 18-yard gain to Las Vegas' 44-yard line on the final play of the first quarter.

2ND QUARTER:

Cook runs for two yards on first down. Allen finds Diggs for five yards. On third and three, Damien Harris runs for 11 yards and a first down. 

On first and 10 from Las Vegas' 26-yard line, Allen's pass intended for Diggs in the end zone is incomplete. Defensive pass interference on Las Vegas gives Buffalo the ball at the Raiders' one-yard line. 

Harris is stopped for a one-yard loss. On second and goal, Allen finds Knox for a touchdown. 

Bass' extra point is good with 12:10 left in the first half.

Garoppolo goes deep for Tucker but he's ruled out of bounds after making the catch. On second and 10, Jacobs loses a yard. On third and 11, Garoppolo's pass to Adams is complete for 19 yards to move the chains. 

Garoppolo's pass to Jacobs gains 10 yards to the Bills' 48-yard line. 

Jacobs is stopped for no gain by Jordan Poyer. Garoppolo's pass to Adams is complete for 21 yards before he goes out of bounds at Buffalo's 27-yard line.

Harty calls for a fair catch at Buffalo's 43-yard line.

Allen's pass intended for Davis is incomplete. Allen finds Cook for a two-yard gain. On third and eight, Allen's pass to Diggs gains 18 yards to the Raiders' 37-yard line. 

Buffalo calls its first timeout with 54 seconds left in the first half. 

Cook gets the handoff and runs for nine yards before going out of bounds. The play is under review to see if Cook gained enough for a first down. After review, Cook is ruled short. Allen's pass to Cook gains three yards before he goes out of bounds. 

Allen runs for 16 yards to the Raiders' 10-yard line and he's hit high by Trevor Moehrig. Moehrig is flagged for unnecessary roughness, but there's holding by O'Cyrus Torrence to offset that penalty and they'll redo the down.

Allen's pass to Davis gains 15 yards for a first down to Las Vegas' 11-yard line.

Allen's pass to Kincaid is incomplete. Allen drops back to pass again and he finds Khalil Shakir for an 11-yard touchdown. 

The extra point by Bass is good with 18 seconds left in the first half.

3RD QUARTER:

Buffalo gets the ball to start the second half after the touchback. 

Allen's pass to Harty gains eight yards. Cook gets the handoff and he runs for 18 yards.

Allen's pass to Kincaid is complete for eight yards. Cook runs for three yards and another first down at the Raiders' 40-yard line. 

Allen's pass to Cook gains five yards. Cook gets the handoff and runs for two yards. On third and three, Allen's pass to Diggs is complete for 10 yards at Las Vegas' 21-yard line to move the chains. 

Allen is under pressure and he's forced to throw it away. Cook runs for seven yards to make it third and three. Allen's pass to Kincaid is complete for two yards, just short of a first down. On fourth and one from Las Vegas' 12-yard line, Allen runs for two yards to extend the drive. 

Murray runs for three yards to the Raiders' eight-yard line. Murray gets another carry and he runs for five yards. On third and goal, Allen's pass to Murray only gains a yard to make it fourth and goal. The Bills call their first timeout of the second half with 6:06 remaining in the third quarter. 

The field goal unit was out and then Allen and the offense marched back onto the field. On fourth and goal, Allen rolls right then his pass to Davis is complete for a two-yard touchdown. 

Bass' extra point is good with 5:59 left in the third quarter.

Jacobs runs for three yards. Garoppolo's pass to Austin Hooper is complete for five yards, making it third and two. Garoppolo finds Hooper again, this time for 15 yards. 

Garoppolo drops back to pass again and this time he's intercepted by Matt Milano who reaches over Jacobs to make the pick. Milano is tackled at the Raiders' 47-yard line.

Allen's pass intended for Cook on a screen is incomplete. Allen escapes pressure and then finds Kincaid for eight yards before he goes out of bounds. On third and two, Allen's pass to Murray goes for an eight-yard gain to move the chains at Las Vegas' 32-yard line. 

Cook runs for five yards. Allen and Kincaid connect again, this time for 14 yards to the Raiders' 12-yard line. 

Allen's pass intended for Knox is incomplete. Allen is sacked by Divine Deablo for a seven-yard loss. Buffalo calls its second timeout of the second half with 14 seconds left in the third quarter before third and 17 from the Raiders' 20-yard line. Kincaid jumps early for a false start to make it third and 22. Cook runs for 14 yards to Las Vegas' 11-yard line on the final play of the third quarter.

A.J. Epenesa jumps early for a neutral zone infraction to make it first and five for Las Vegas. Garoppolo finds Adams for five yards and a first down. 

Jacobs runs for a yard. Garoppolo finds Jacobs for six yards. On third and three, Garoppolo's pass intended for Adams is incomplete. Micah Hyde is looked at by trainers but walks off the field under his own power. 

AJ Cole's punt is downed at Buffalo's five-yard line.

Harris runs for nine yards. He gets another carry and gains seven yards for a first down.

Harris runs for two yards. Allen finds Davis for nine yards to move the chains. 

Cook gets the carry on a toss and only gains a yard, but illegal motion on Buffalo moves them back five yards. On first and 15, Allen is hit as he throws and it's intercepted by Rodric Teamer. Illegal hands in the face on Las Vegas gives Buffalo the ball back and a first down. 

Allen throws a screen pass to Diggs and he turns it into a 16-yard gain. 

Cook runs for six yards. Cook gets another carry and loses two yards. On third and six, Allen rolls right and finds Davis and he turns it into a 40-yard gain. 

On first and goal at the Raiders' eight-yard line, Cook runs for three yards. Harris runs for four yards to Las Vegas' one-yard line. The Bills call their final timeout with 5:11 left in the game. On third and goal from the one-yard line, Harris punches it in for a touchdown. 

Bass' extra point is good with 5:08 left in the game.

Garoppolo's pass is complete to Hunter Renfrow for 23 yards to Buffalo's 38-yard line.

Garoppolo goes deep for Adams with three Bills defenders around him and it's incomplete, but Tyler Rapp is flagged for unnecessary roughness. 

On first and 10 from the Bills' 23-yard line, White runs for eight yards. White gets another carry and he fumbles after the hit by Dane Jackson and it's recovered by Rapp with 2:15 left in the game.
