Bills LB Von Miller Addresses Assault Allegations: 'I Know Who I Am'
Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller spoke to the media Thursday for the first time since turning himself in on an arrest warrant on Nov. 30.
Miller was facing felony assault charges after alleging hitting his pregnant girlfriend, but she later said that Miller did nothing wrong.
Miller admitted Thursday that he and his girlfriend have had their issues, but he's never been violent with her and "knows who he is."
“Whenever you see that stuff pop up in articles and stuff, it’s shocking, of course, especially when my name is attached to it,” Miller said. “It is 100 percent false, it’s overblown. ... I know who I am, I know my character, I know the type of person I am, I know me and my girlfriend’s relationship.”
Miller, 34, said the only thing that's true amongst all the uncertainty is that he and his girlfriend are expecting their third child.
Bills QB Josh Allen Sets NFL Record vs. Chargers
This season, Miller made his return from a torn ACL that cut his 2022 campaign short. He never received a suspension from the Bills or the NFL for the assault allegations. In 11 games this season, he's posted three total tackles.
Miller and the Bills (9-6) will look to continue their playoff push on Sunday at home against the New England Patriots (4-11), who won the first meeting in Foxborough, 29-25, on Oct. 22.
