Buffalo Bills, New York Giants Reveal Uniforms For Sunday Night Football

Buffalo Bills fans will be seeing red after the team announced its uniform combination for their upcoming game against the New York Giants.

The Buffalo Bills have arguably one of the cleanest uniform sets in the NFL, but they'll be going a little outside the box for their Sunday Night Football game against the New York Giants at Highmark Stadium.

For the first time this season, the Bills will break out their all-red color Rush uniforms on Sunday night. Buffalo typically only dons these uniforms only once or twice a year, and with New York having a nearly identical blue, white and red color scheme, this seemed like as good a time as any.

The Bills first debuted these uniforms in a 2015 game against the New York Jets, who countered with an all-green look. This uniform matchup actually caused confusion among viewers with red/green color-blindness who struggled to tell the teams apart, so the NFL has been more cautious with color vs. color matchups since then.

In nine games wearing their color rush uniforms, the Bills boast a 7-2 record. They most recently broke them out in Week 15 last year against the Miami Dolphins, a game they won 32-29 on a last-second field goal.

Not to be outdone, the Giants will be getting in on the color rush fun as well by wearing their all-white uniforms. Whereas the Bills' color rush uniforms are largely an original concept, the Giants' pays homage to the look they wore throughout the 80s and 90s, an era in which they won two Super Bowls. It even features a modified helmet design, featuring the "Giants" script of that era rather than their more modern "NY" logo.

The Giants first debuted this look in 2016 as the part of the league-wide color rush program, which has largely faded away since. In eight games in the uniform, New York has a paltry record of just 1-7.

The Bills, who sit at 3-2 after a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, are 14-point favorites as they look to bounce back against the 1-4 Giants.
