Bills Mock Draft Roundup: Where is Buffalo Trending?
With one day left until the 2023 NFL Draft, here's a final look at who experts believe the Buffalo Bills will pick with the 27th overall pick.
Peter King of Football Morning in America: Josh Downs, WR, North Carolina
The Bills need another wide receiver to complement Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis, and DeAndre Hopkins has been rumored as a potential target. If not a veteran, Downs combined for 19 touchdowns over his final two seasons at a North Carolina.
Jaime Eisner of The Draft Network: Mazi Smith, DT, Michigan
Ed Oliver's future with the Bills is uncertain as he prepares to play on the fifth-year option in 2023. Smith was First-Team All-Big 10 in 2022 at Michigan, racking up 48 total tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
Danny Kelly of The Ringer: Jordan Addison, WR, USC
If Addison had been eligible to come out after his sophomore season, he may very well have been taken in the top half of the first round. Addison won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top wide receiver while playing with Kenny Pickett at Pitt in 2021. He then transferred to USC, where he had 59 catches for 875 yards and eight touchdowns across 11 games in 2022.
Charles Davis of NFL Media: Brian Branch, S, Alabama
In his final season playing for the Crimson Tide, Branch recorded 90 total tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, seven pass deflections, three sacks and two interceptions. Adding him into the safety mix with Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde would improve the secondary in Buffalo.
The Athletic NFL Staff: Josh Downs, WR, North Carolina
Another pick for Downs. The former North Carolina star had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons for the Tar Heels in 2021 and 2022.
