WATCH: Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen Scrambles for TD vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen now has five rushing touchdowns this season.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen got off to a hot start throwing the ball in the first half of Thursday night's meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Highmark Stadium, but it was his legs that gave Buffalo its first touchdown of the night.

Early in the second quarter on the Bills' third drive of the game, Allen eluded the defense and ran his way in for a 13-yard touchdown to give Buffalo a 10-0 lead.

Take a look:

Allen scrambled in for a score one drive after the Bills failed to convert at the one-yard line on 4th and goal. Buffalo could've gone with the infamous "tush push" with Allen at the goal line, something that Amazon Prime's Kirk Herbstreit and Al Michaels pointed out.

The Bills announced that the touchdown now ties Allen with San Francisco 49ers legend Steve Young for the second-most rushing scores by a quarterback in NFL history.

"With that rushing TD, Josh Allen now has 43 career rushing TDs and has tied Steve Young for the second-most by a QB in NFL history," the Bills tweeted.

Allen running the ball less has been a constant topic of conversation, but he hasn't exactly been listening.

“I know that is something we wanted to work on,” Bills center Mitch Morse said. “Because no one is invincible in this league.”

The Bills and Bucs are tied at 10-10 as the second quarter comes to a close on Thursday Night Football.
