Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has already had enough heartbreak on the football field to begin the calendar year. So instead of going to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando this weekend, he's preparing for a more relaxing, yet competitive atmosphere on the golf course.

Per reports from The Buffalo News, Allen is expected to skip out on the Pro Bowl Games to compete at the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The event begins Thursday in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Allen's an avid golfer and will now be playing in the event for a third consecutive offseason. Last season, he competed with PGA pro golfer Keith Mitchell and placed fourth behind Ben Silverman and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who won the tournament.

Allen, a finalist for the AP Most Valuable Players award, led the NFL in total yards (4,830) and total touchdowns (44) during the regular season. He finished the regular season going 385 of 579 passing for 4,306 yards, 29 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. However, his rushing numbers helped power the Bills, as Allen posted 111 carries for 524 yards and a career-high 15 touchdowns.

Allen also became the first player in NFL history with four consecutive 40 total touchdown season in Week 15's win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

This marks the third time Allen has been named a finalist for MVP (2020, 2022, 2023).
