'We Back!' Bills Re-Signing DaQuan Jones in Free Agency - Details
The Buffalo Bills have made some major changes on defense early on this offseason, but they're now reportedly retaining a key piece on that side of the ball.
Per reports from local Buffalo football site Cover 1, the Bills are re-signing defensive tackle DaQuan Jones to a two-year, $16 million deal with $10.5 million guaranteed.
"The wait is over. Our guy is BACK!!," Cover 1 tweeted. "Great work Beane and congrats to DQ!"
Jones essentially confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple two-word message.
"WE BACK!!!!! #GoBills," Jones tweeted.
Jones, 32, was originally a fourth-round pick out of Penn State in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, where he played for seven seasons. He spent one year with the Carolina Panthers in 2021 before joining the Bills in 2022.
In 26 career games with the Bills (including playoffs), Jones has tallied 58 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick.
