Bills Reveal Initial 53-Man Roster; Changes Coming Soon?
The Buffalo Bills revealed their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday after making cuts following preseason play and training camp.
Some of the notable exclusions include linebacker Von Miller, who will begin the season on reserve/PUP as he continues to recover from a torn ACL.
Additionally, a few names currently on the 53-man roster will likely be placed on IR, per reports. Rookie receiver Justin Shorter and linebacker Baylon Spector, who are both dealing with hamstring injuries, will be headed for IR, per Sal Capaccio of WGR550.
The Bills are also missing a long snapper on the initial roster, but Reid Ferguson will be released and then re-signed to allow the team some flexibility as players like Spector and Shorter make the eventual move to IR.
