Bills WATCH: Josh Allen Finds Stefon Diggs for TD on Scramble Drill

Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs found the end zone in the first half of Monday's meeting with the New York Jets.

The Buffalo Bills are looking to take advantage of the New York Jets on Monday night at MetLife Stadium after Aaron Rodgers went down with an ankle injury and was ruled out.

After a defensive-filled first quarter, Bills quarterback Josh Allen and receiver Stefon Diggs took that responsibility on their shoulders. Tied 3-3 and faced with a third down in the red zone, Allen scrambled right and nearly crossed the line of scrimmage before finding Diggs in the corner of the end zone for an impressive five-yard score.

Buffalo took a 10-3 lead as a result of the highlight. Take a look:

It likely feels good for Bills Mafia to see Diggs and Allen connecting on the first touchdown of the season after the events of the offseason.

"It's been one of those offseasons," Diggs said. "There's been a lot of chatter. It was an ongoing thing, but you block out the noise. You focus on football, you focus on your team, and you focus on the guys around you."

"I know those guys in there personally," Diggs said. "You know their family, you know their kids and you spend so much time with them. My appreciation really goes for those [players]. They're like your loved ones. How they look at you, and how they respect you, and how they appreciate you goes a long way."

The Bills added another field goal later in the quarter and took a 13-3 lead headed into halftime. The Jets and Zach Wilson will receive the second-half kickoff, as Rodgers' injury continues to be the focus.
