Former Bills Intern Tom Telesco Thanks Chargers Before Clash vs. Buffalo
After being fired on Dec. 15, former Los Angeles Chargers general manager and Buffalo Bills summer intern Tom Telesco has spoken out for the first time. The former GM thanked the Chargers organization after holding the position for 10-plus seasons.
Telesco held the position from 2013 to 2023.
"I am grateful for my 11 years as GM of the San Diego/LA Chargers," Telesco writes. "It was an experience my family and I will never forget. The NFL is a people business, and I am thankful for the hard work, time sacrificed and loyalty of so many. Thank you, Players, Coaches, Scouts, Trainers, Doctors, Video, Equipment, Public Relations, Grounds Crew, Security, Player Engagement, Digital Media, and specifically Ed McGuire and JoJo Wooden. We are looking forward to our next chapter and we will always be Bolt Fans."
Telesco and former head coach Brandon Staley were fired following the Chargers' (5-9) embarrassing 63-21 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday Night Football.
Before moving up the front office ranks, Telesco, a Buffalo, NY native, began his career as a summer intern with the Bills from 1991-1994. From there, he joined the Carolina Panthers as a scouting assistant (1995-1996) and area scout (1997).
