Dallas Cowboys Win Makes Buffalo Bills Favorite to Make Playoffs

The Buffalo Bills helped their playoff chances significantly after beating the Dallas Cowboys.

The Buffalo Bills' outlook appears much sunnier after a 31-10 win against the Dallas Cowboys at home on Sunday.

The third win in their last four games puts the Bills at 8-6, and while they may not be in the current playoff picture, their odds to make the postseason have skyrocketed.

"Two weeks ago, the Buffalo Bills had a 14% chance of making the playoffs," Peter Schrager said on 'Good Morning Football'. "Today they're fresh off wins in Arrowhead and over the Cowboys, and they've got a 71% chance of making playoffs. Moreover, they're the team that nobody wants to face in the postseason."

The Bills' wins against the Kansas City Chiefs and Cowboys are impressive and it puts them in a much better spot to earn a playoff spot. Now that those games are behind them, Buffalo draws the Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots, two teams way out of the playoff picture, for the next two games.

Should the Bills win both of those games and the Miami Dolphins, who are currently 10-4 after beating the New York Jets, loses just one of their next two games to the Cowboys or No. 1 seeded Baltimore Ravens, then winning the division could be within reach for Buffalo.

If the Bills are able to gain a game on the Dolphins over the next two weeks, they will have a shot to clinch the AFC East title in Week 18 ... but even if they don't win the division, wins in the next two weeks should make Buffalo a likely Wild Card.
