The Buffalo Bills are going down to the wire with the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter, and a few key plays may define the game.

With the Bills trailing 27-24 facing 4th & 5 in their own territory, Buffalo called a fake punt with Damar Hamlin running the ball to the side. However, the Chiefs sniffed it out and took over in Buffalo territory.

Here's a look at the play ...

After a 29-yard run by running back Isiah Pacheco to get to the 3-yard line, Patrick Mahomes passed the ball to receiver Mecole Hardman, who was ruled down at the 1-yard line. However, the Bills challenged whether he held on to the ball long enough to go down.

After further review, Hardman fumbled the ball before he was ruled down and the ball rolled into the side of the end zone for a touchback, which could potentially save Buffalo's season.

Regardless of how the game ends, both of these plays will be pointed at behind whichever team loses.

The Bills trail 27-24 with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
