'Dangerously Cold!' KC 25-Below Zero Temperatures for Dolphins at Chiefs Playoff
When the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins kick off later tonight in their Saturday NFL playoff opener at KC, it will make for some fascinating TV watching (but only for those who have Peacock network, which is another story altogether.)
But it will not make for comfortable viewing for those inside Arrowhead Stadium.
Of course, the Buffalo Bills and their fans know all about this sort of thing; on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town and you've been instructed to bring your snow shovel to Highmark Stadium to mark the occasion.
But back to KC ... where this game is likely to be played in below-zero temperatures.
According to the latest weather forecast, the temperature at kickoff will be around zero degrees. And then the night will roll on and the temps will drop ... and once the wind chills factor is taken into account?

Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins will be trying to cope with temps as frigid as 25-below zero. Oh, and yes, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs won't be viewing this as some pleasure cruise, either.
"Dangerously cold'' is the phrase being used, but the NFL show must go on. As with the game in Buffalo, there is no indication at this time that the NFL has plans to change the kickoff times or locations.
