Derrick Henry Being ‘Shopped’; Should Bills Trade for Titans RB?

The Tennessee Titans are listening to trade offers on Derrick Henry. Should the Buffalo Bills make the call?

The rumor has become a reality: Derrick Henry, the powerful force of an NFL running back, is “being shopped.”

The Tennessee Titans are listening to trade offers, per a report from trusted NFL voice Michael Silver..

So … what should the Buffalo Bills do about it?

The rumor originates from an actual bold trade prediction that ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington brought up on the network’s recent edition of "Get Up!"

"You want to trade a guy before it's too late," he said. "Maybe they get something. Trade away Derrick Henry to the Buffalo Bills. Just speculating here, but man, that'd be a fun one."

But now it’s more than “fun.” The Titans seem to be in salary-dump mode.

How affordably can Buffalo take advantage? We might wish to tap the brakes a bit as Silver isn’t counting Buffalo among the likely suitors.

Still …

Henry remains one of the league's top running backs and overall players after finishing second in the league in both rushing yards (1,538) and rushing yards per game (96.1), first in carries (349) and tied for second in rushing touchdowns (13).

Does he have any real connection to the Bills, though?

Well, Henry is friends with Von Miller … of course, who isn’t?

And so at the very least, Miller is having some fun with the speculation by posting an “eye-popping” look at the two All-Pros working out together.

Henry alongside Josh Allen in the backfield in Buffalo would accomplish something else, as to see Henry in Buffalo would mean no longer enduring the damage he’s caused as the enemy.

Henry has faced the Bills five times in his career. In those games, he's totaled 83 carries for 359 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Bills would surely like relief from that. And with Henry maybe on the move? Doing something about just inched nearer reality.
