The Buffalo Bills are slated to have the No. 28 selection in this April's NFL Draft.

The Bills could benefit from a number of different positions to kick off their 2024 rookie class, but getting another weapon for Josh Allen is one of the team's top needs, especially in a stacked receiver class at the top.

Sports Illustrated recently compiled a three-round mock draft that has the Bills taking South Carolina receiver Xavier Legette.

"Stefon Diggs is still one of the league's best route-runners, but Josh Allen needs more juice from the rest of his receiver group," SI writes. "Legette has the physicality you'd expect from a 6-1, 227-pound receiver, but has elite speed to go along with his impressive frame, making opposing defenders look silly as he leaves them in the dust after the catch."

Legette is the fifth receiver off the board after Marvin Harrison Jr. (No. 3), Malik Nabers (No. 5), Rome Odunze (No. 8) and Brian Thomas Jr. (No. 27).

Are Bills 'Way-Too-Early' Super Bowl Contenders?

Legette, 23, caught 71 passes for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns this season for the Gamecocks, leading the team. He could provide a real threat opposite Stefon Diggs and make the Bills offense that much more difficult to defend.

It may not be the wisest move to go for a skill player in the first round of two consecutive drafts, but the Bills are certainly taking a talented player if they grab Legette.
