Nobody 'Wants to Play' Buffalo Bills in Playoffs, Says Analyst

The Buffalo Bills pose quite the threat for prospective playoff teams ... if they qualify for the postseason.

The Buffalo Bills are in the thick of things when it comes to the AFC playoff race.

After beating the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Bills are among the teams sitting at 7-6 with a shot at cracking the postseason with four games to go. However, the Bills stand out among these teams with wins against the Miami Dolphins and Chiefs, along with a close overtime loss to the 10-3 Philadelphia Eagles.

All of that, coupled with the team's postseason history, makes the Bills a threat should they qualify for the playoffs.

"I don't think anyone wants to play Buffalo in the playoffs," Howie Long said on Up & Adams. "And the big reason is Josh Allen. ... He's great."

Allen raises the ceiling for the Bills in a way no other quarterback in the league does, other than maybe Patrick Mahomes. Buffalo has been fortunate that Allen has stayed healthy throughout his career. He's missed just one start since the 2019 season.

Allen has the offensive firepower able to keep up with some of the top teams in the league, and if he can continue to perform at the high level he's currently playing at, the Bills could very well qualify for the playoffs and give trouble to any team that stands in their path.

But before Buffalo thinks about the postseason, the team must find a way to beat the red-hot Dallas Cowboys. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday at 4:25 p.m. inside Highmark Stadium. The game can be watched on FOX.
