'Say It Ain't Snow!' Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills Playoff Weather Predicted

Unless you like your NFL playoff games covered in snow - and yes, we know some in Bills Mafia kinda do! - there is a bit of good news for the weather report for Sunday's playoff game with the Kansas City Chiefs coming to town to take on the Buffalo Bills in a home playoff game.

That good news: As of now, there is no snow is in the forecast for Sunday, when the Bills are slated to host the Chiefs in an AFC Divisional Round game.

But there is a "but'': It remains possible that the aftereffects of a midweek storm could impact travel in Western New York and could impact snow and snow removal issues at Highmark Stadium as the week rolls on.

Presently, a "lake-effect snow warning'' is in place for the area, with accumulations of one to three feet anticipated. And yes, as was the case for much of last week's blizzard leading up to the win over the Steelers - a game moved from the weekend to Monday due to the dangerous conditions - a travel ban has been issued in Orchard Park.

The Bills and Chiefs are set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday night on CBS, and the winner will move on to the AFC Championship Game. Wanna play again in January at Highmark? If the Texans upset the top-seeded Ravens this weekend, and Buffalo wins? You'll get your wintry wish.
