Bills WR Stefon Diggs Had Fiery Message for Josh Allen vs. Dolphins: 'The (Bleeping) Dagger!'
The Buffalo Bills are AFC East champions for the fourth straight season after taking down the Miami Dolphins 21-14 in the Week 18 finale at Hard Rock Stadium. The win also secured Buffalo the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs, as the Bills will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday instead of having to go on the road had they lost in Miami.
Safe to say that the stakes were high in this one given the playoff seeding and division title implications, something that Bills receiver Stefon Diggs clearly realized in the second half against the Dolphins.
The Bills shared a video on social media Tuesday that showed Diggs mic'd up on the sideline during the game. Talking to Allen, Diggs had expletive piece of motivation for his quarterback.
"Hey! Don't force it, but this next drive, put the (bleeping) dagger in them!" Diggs told Allen. "This is when a good team shows that they're a good team."
The message was clearly heard.
Aided by a 96-yard punt return for a touchdown by Deonte Harty to begin the fourth quarter, Allen and the Bills were able to rally from a 14-7 deficit. He connected with tight end Dawson Knox for a go-ahead five-yard touchdown with 7:16 to play. Miami's defense got shutout in the second half as Buffalo's two fourth-quarter touchdowns sealed the win.

Diggs finished the game with seven catches for 87 yards, which was highlighted by a 36-yard grab. This marked the most receiving yards he's had in a game since posting 100 yards on 10 catches in the 14-9 win over the New York Giants on Oct. 15.
The Bills (11-6) and Steelers (10-7) will kickoff at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
