Stefon Diggs Reacts to Bills Injury Worry: ‘I’m Great!’

This time, when Stefon Diggs says, “I’m great!”? Quarterback Josh Allen's favorite pass-catching target is not bragging.

Is Stefon Diggs “great”? Yes, that is a widely-held opinion of the Buffalo Bills star receiver.

But this time, when he says, “I’m great!”? Quarterback Josh Allen's favorite pass-catching target is not bragging.

Buffalo and Bills Mafia held a collective breath for a moment on Thursday when it appeared there might be a Diggs injury scare as received treatment from trainers at training camp practice.

That concern was of course by some of those present via social media.

But Diggs politely jumped into the fray to clear up any concern about a potentially significant injury.

Diggs wrote, "I'm great" after the practice on Thursday, two words that carry a lot of football weight around here.

There have been pockets of off-season tumult with the talented and passionate star. But his work and his mood at camp has been by all measures exemplary.

Part of that process: Diggs and Allen - who have combined to be a production machine here over the course of three seasons since the trade to get him from Minnesota - seem in synch now on the way to what promises to be a fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season as a receiver.

And if on top of that, one of the league’s greatest play-makers is “great” after the Buffalo Bills finish their on-field work and move onto the day’s meetings and the rest?

That makes this a great day - and day of relief - for the Super Bowl-hopeful Bills.
