Stephon Diggs Reacts to 'S***' from Stephen A. Smith Gossip on Bills

The short version: Bills star Stefon Diggs is calling ESPN's Stephen A. Smith a liar. And he's calling him on his "s***.''

Apparently, "this brother'' Stefon Diggs does not consider Stephen A. Smith to be his "brother.'' Nor is the Buffalo Bills star aware of Smith's "sources'' allegedly have informed the ESPN shock jock that Diggs wants out of Buffalo.

The "First Take'' "report'' if it can be called that - is "100-percent not true,'' Diggs responded quickly on Twitter after Smith's transparently errant and showboating assertion.

"I don’t know who the source is,'' Diggs wrote, "but I thought I'd nip this s*** in the bud already.''

Translation: While Smith is hiding behind sources that quite likely do not exist, as he has no known connection with the Bills, has no particular knowledge of the NFL and has a hideous record when trying to pose as a football insider, Diggs is not hiding.

Stefon Diggs is calling Stephen A. Smith a liar. And he's calling him on his "s***.''

Diggs, just a few days ago, acknowledged his offseason conflict with the Bills coaching staff but also, when asked about being a Bill for Life, replied, "100 percent, sir!''

Days later ... has something changed? What Diggs fibbing? Does "100 percent'' not mean "100 percent''?

"This brother,'' screamed ESPN shock jock Stephen A. Smith on Monday's "First Take.'' wants out ... I'm just telling you what I know. I got my own sources. Brother didn't want to be in Buffalo anymore I'll tell you right now. I have my sources."

What changed? ESPN needed a fill a segment, that's what. Stephen A. Smith has found himself in beyond his depth, and while it is true that Diggs has a history of emotion-driven behaviors, the bottom line for the consumers of NFL information is a simple one: When it comes to how Stefon Diggs feel about the Buffalo Bills, does he deserve to be believed over someone who is being called out on his "s***''?
