Von Miller, James Cook Among 15 Players on Buffalo Bills Wednesday Injury Report
The Buffalo Bills revealed their Wednesday injury report ahead of Saturday's meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium, and there's no shortage of names on it.
The Bills listed 15 total players on the injury report, some more notable than others. Here are the biggest takeaways:
- Von Miller (veteran rest), James Cook (illness) and Jordan Phillips (wrist) were the only three players listed as DNP. Miller missed Tuesday's walk-through due to a family funeral.
- Micah Hyde (neck stinger) and A.J. Epenesa (ribs) were both limited participants after missing Sunday's 31-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Both are now trending in a more positive direction for Saturday.
- QB Josh Allen (right shoulder) was listed as a full participant
Bills RB James Cook Sits Out Wednesday's Practice
Here's the full injury report:
Cook gashed the Cowboys in Sunday's blowout win in what was by far the best game of his young two-year NFL career. He rushed 25 times for 179 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 42 yards and another score.
However, the Bills were able to pound the rock for most of the game thanks to the impressive play of Buffalo's defense. Even without Epenesa and Hyde, the Bills held the potent Dallas offense to just 10 points, which tied a season-low mark.
This kind of recipe spells success for the Bills during the season's final push
The Bills (8-6) and Chargers (5-8) kickoff from SoFi Stadium on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET, as Buffalo will look to keep its playoff push alive.
