WATCH: Bills QB Josh Allen Finds WR Gabe Davis for Long TD vs. Chargers
Buffalo Bills receiver Gabe Davis said earlier in the week headed into Saturday's meeting against the Los Angeles Chargers that receiving just three targets and no catches over the past two games has been "not that easy."
Well Davis and quarterback Josh Allen certainly made their second-quarter touchdown on Saturday look easy, as the pair connected for a 57-yard score to give Buffalo life and cut into L.A.'s surprising lead at 10-7.
Take a look at Davis' score:
Here's what Davis said earlier in the week about a lack of targets:
“It’s not that easy, but you know I gotta do it," Davis said. "I gotta be and do what my team asks me to do and all I can do is control what I can control. But, you know, I’m doing good in the blocking game and... real confident in that.”

“Me and Josh had a conversation and, you know, again, that’s what the game brings," Davis said. "You know, we both know that we want each of us to be successful — my success is his success, and vice versa when he’s throwing me the ball. So, it’s not that we don’t want it to happen, but you know, the league is tough and all the stars gotta align for stuff to go your way all the time.”
