WATCH: Buffalo Bills Finally Score vs. New York Giants as Josh Allen Finds Deonte Harty for TD

The Buffalo Bills finally found a way to score against the New York Giants on Sunday thanks to receiver Deonte Harty.

It took an entire three quarters and change, but the Buffalo Bills finally broke their scoring seal in Sunday's meeting with the New York Giants at Highmark Stadium.

After a big fight/shoving match broke out in the end zone at the end of the third quarter, the Bills flipped sides of the field as the fourth quarter began and scored on the first play.

On 3rd and goal from the Giants' three-yard line, Bills receiver Deonte Harty motioned into the backfield behind Bills quarterback Josh Allen before quickly sprinting left at the snap. The design got Harty free in the flat, and he was able to waltz into the end zone for a three-yard score to give the Bills a 7-6 lead.

Take a look:

The touchdown was Harty's first as Bill. He had 11 catches for 100 yards headed into Week 6, most of which came in Week 5's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars when he posted two catches for 62 yards.

Harty, formerly Deonte Harris, missed most of last season due to turf toe but had proven himself in the three years before after entering the league in 2019 as an undrafted free agent out of Division II Assumption.

But Harty went from D-II to NFL special teams star in a blink, earning All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors right away his rookie year with the Saints. The 5-6, 170-pound speedster led the league in total punt returns (36) and punt return yards (338) while returning one for a touchdown in 14 appearances.

Harty caught just six passes for 24 yards his rookie season, but steadily showed what he was capable off in the years to follow. His most recent healthy season was in 2021, as Harty posted career-high numbers in catches (36), targets (59), receiving yards (570) and receiving touchdowns (three) while averaging 15.8 yards per grab, the seventh-best mark in the league that season.

With proven speed and receiving ability, it's safe to expect Allen continuing to look Harty's way this season.
