WATCH: Josh Allen Powers Buffalo Bills in Front vs. Philadelphia Eagles with Rushing TD

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will likely have to match the performance of his quarterback counterpart Jalen Hurts if he wants to beat the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

He's doing that while also giving the Bills the lead in the first half, as his nine-yard rushing touchdown gave Buffalo a 10-7 edge in the second quarter.

Take a look:

After Buffalo's crushing 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 10, Bills coach Sean McDermott said that he wanted to get Allen back to having "fun."

"He's the leader of our football team, let alone in this case, the offense," McDermott said. "Getting him back to having that look in his eye and having some fun out there and the guy that we have watched over the years but also back at Wyoming. Just going out there and having that joy when he's playing."

As for what has caused Allen not to be as jovial as usual, McDermott opted to be tight-lipped, though he has his conclusions for why that is the case.

"I have my own thoughts, but I won't go there right now," McDermott said. "Just overall, where we're trying to go offensively, where we're trying to go as a team, that's what I'm really focused on is that vision of what do we need to do and what needs to be back."
