Tom Brady Predicts the next QB to Win His First Super Bowl
Tom Brady recently heaped some high praise on the Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, predicting that Allen would be the next quarterback to win his first Super Bowl.
During an appearance on the Deep Cut podcast with socially viral barber Vic Blends, Brady was questioned about which current quarterback will win his first Super Bowl. Despite the plethora of young talented QBs in the league, Brady confidently picked the Bills’ Josh Allen.
Brady did acknowledge, however, that there is a significant roadblock for Allen to accomplish that ultimate goal.
“I like Josh Allen a lot. I pick Josh,” Brady said. “I like Josh a lot as a guy, as a leader, but he’s got to get past the Chiefs, which is hard, because Patrick’s incredible in the way he leads that team.”
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots dominated during their time in the league, winning 17 AFC East division titles and six Super Bowls. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have shown that they may be the next dynasty, winning 3 of the last 4 superbowls and showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have met seven times in their careers with Mahomes coming out on top 4 times. Allen is 3-1 in regular season matchups while Mahomes has triumphed ina ll of their three playoff clashes.
Mahomes went 3-3 in his six career starts against Brady, going 1-2 against him while he was on the Patriots and 2-1 against him during his final seasons in Tampa Bay. In the playoffs with it all on the line, however, Mahomes was 0-2 against Brady, losing to him in the AFC championship game in 2019 and in the Super Bowl in 2021.
